Therefore, last week we attended the regional HOW Festival conference, where we had the opportunity to meet with hotel managers, heads of hotel departments, and operations managers from the entire region.
More than 500 participants gathered in Petrčane, near the city of Zadar, to follow the trends in hotel operations, listen to the examples of good practice, and build valuable business connections.
Sharing knowledge and networking
A perfect combination of presentations and networking gave the participants the opportunity to enrich their knowledge, but also to meet their colleagues from the industry in one place after the tourist season and exchange experiences.
As an introduction to this three-day gathering, we were greeted with a welcome cocktail. It was an opportunity for exhibitors to make contacts with representatives of well-known hotel companies from Croatia and the region and to discuss the industry trends in a relaxed atmosphere.
The educational program hosted hospitality experts from numerous countries who held presentations and panels on trending topics related to the hotel industry and hotels' operations. In the second part of the program, there were parallel workshops about different hotel departments, including sales and marketing, human resources, food and beverage, housekeeping, technical department, etc.
Innovative solutions in the spotlight
The gathering concluded with the 'speed networking', which additionally connected the participants and encouraged them to exchange contact information.
On this occasion, we presented our hotel laundry solutions with the particular emphasis on LG Laundry Corner. We informed hoteliers about all the advantages this solution brings, from additional income for the hotel to keeping pace with the market trends.
